A most impressive starboard broadside aerial view on a line-issued postcard of the Turkish Maritime Line's very handsome ORDU of 1949 under way.
She was originally built in 1939 as COPIAPO for the Chilean Line.  In 1943, she (along with her two sisters) were sold off to the US Government for use as troopships.  All three vessels were acquired by the Turkish Maritime Line in 1949.
This lovely postcard is in excellent condition.
