This 5 piece heirloom sterling silver coffee and tea service is from the estate of the original family.
It's the enduring design by Gio Ponti called THE DIAMOND and it is by REED & BARTON. It was manufactured from 1958-2005 and is now discontinued.
The Coffee pot has a natural color rattan handle insulator,  No. 440; weighing 890 grams
The Tea pot has a natural color rattan handle insulator,  No. 440;
weighing 680 grams

Total weight of the 4 pieces, not including the tray is 2,090 grams
The  round black Lucite tray has a sterling band marked X436, the diameter is 14 5/8"
