    Description

    Small Antique Catshead Basket, Red Striping, Excellent Condition.
    Here is a sweet small cats head basket with a fixed wood handle. The workmanship in this little basket is excellent, tight even weaving and a nice square bottom. The little cat ears are just right, with a slight arch from corner to corner. There are several red bands woven into the middle of this basket which have faded over time. They are more prominent inside the basket. The top rim is finished off nicely with tight even weaving. I see know problems or loose areas, it is in remarkably good shape!
