NYK Line's NITTA MARU of 1940 (became aircraft carrier CHUYO in 1943) notes!!!

A magnificent artist's rendering (by Mason) on a line-issued postcard of the NYK Line's handsome NITTA MARU of 1940 depicted under way.   She would be converted into the escort aircraft carrier CHUYO in 1943 but her new career would be short-lived as she would be sent to the bottom that very year by the American submarine U.S.S. SAILFISH.
This lovely postcard has a small crease on the upper left corner but overall, the card is in very good condition.
For U.S. customers: .00 for any amount of lots purchased, whether it be one item or one hundred, the shipping fee will only be .00.
Overseas (and Canada) up to 3 cards, .95.  Should your purchase be larger, we are always happy to combine lots to save you money.
We ship on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only.
