Hello, here is a larger 100% natural petrified wood fossil with well preserved BARK and Earth Hued colors! It was quarried in Northeast Arizona.
This "rock" was a fallen tree that lived in the Late Triassic period a crazy 237 -- 201 million years ago! The sediments containing the fossil logs are part of the widespread and colorful Chinle Formation.
It measures a nice! 18.0cm or 7.25" at its biggest or from opposing side to side.
