This is a quality giclee printed with archival inks, cropped to fit on a single 8x10 inch textured gold metallic backing mat **which is included as part of the print as you can see here, from an original black & white photograph from the 1920's? that was hand colored.
***Please note that the metallic gold foil backing board is shiny bright gold/yellow color which does not reproduce well here, so please don't leave poor 'not as described' ratings if you purchase.
The print is shrink wrapped (you may be able to see it in the photo) with caption, and photography information on the back of the Mormon temple in Laie, north Oahu.  Please note that this is from a very old original photo shot on black and white film that was hand colored and looks grainier, it looks more like a textured painting than a photo, and is a very nice artistic and historic photo.
It would make a great gift for someone who likes this area, has visited the temple, or likes historic images of Hawaii. They are popular reasonably priced decorations for restaurants, offices, homes, or stores where people can see them.

It makes the print look like there is a margin at the edges of the photo (which you can see if you look at the photo, it is longer than wide) which is often called a 'full frame print'. An 11x14 inch frame (or larger) with a custom cut mat from a frame shop or art store is the suggested way to display this photo.
Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using an archival photo adhesive and cannot be easily removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. If you want to use a larger frame and can't figure out how to do it with the photo mounted on the backing board, contact us and we can explain how it can be done. This is recommended for best visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10 inch frame and displaying the image as is.
