Basket bought in antique shop in Chicago specializing in Chinese & Asian vintage and antique items - these were rarely used. We have two for sale. Pricing is for one.
Antique Chinese rice basket with central handle, originally from around 1900 - or so.
Made of solid wood. Has dovetailed details and metal seams. It is a strong and sturdy piece.
Marked by time - but that makes it cool. It has a super raw feel and rich patina. In different shades of brown.
Measures approximately 12" length x 12" width x 9" height.
