Handsome Tuttle Sterling Silver Georgian Style Lighthouse Coffee / Teapot
Presented is a handsome Tuttle sterling silver coffee or teapot. This piece is dated 1945-1948. The pot is made in a lovely English Georgian lighthouse form. The pot has an attractive scrolled handle. The pot has a capacity of 1 ½ pints, or 24 fluid ounces/0.7 liter. The pot is well made, with a nice feeling of weight and quality in the hand. The pot is clean inside and out, ready for use or display.
This piece is in great condition. There is a tiny ding to the body, which is quite hard to notice and insignificant in our opinion. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The pot is stamped on the underside with the Tuttle maker's mark dated 1945-1948, as well as sterling, the capacity of 1 1/2 pints, and 'George I period.'
The pot stands about 9 ¼ inches tall.
The pot weighs 548.5 grams or 19.3 regular ounces.
