Very Fine RARE China Chinese Mother of Pearl Inlaid Black Lacquer Tiered Basket Qing dynasty ca. 19th century. The basket measures 15 3/4 inches high with some scattered chips or cracks in the lacquer, mainly along rims or edges; some scattered losses to the inlay; with some gaps in the joins, the cover with a gap between the central roundel and the rim, the rim with a "T' form split in the wood, with an associated chip in the center of the rim; with a repaired split in the handle; some areas re-lacquered.
