CHANTILLY Old Gorham 5pc Sterling Silver Hand Chased Tea & Coffee Set GRAND

Description

This is a high relief five piece old Gorham sterling silver tea and coffee set in the desirable Chantilly pattern. It is excellent condition and features hand chasing in a floral scroll and foliate design. This set is very impressive and ornate.
The set consists of:
Teapot--10¼ from spout to handle, 7 inches tall.
Coffee pot-- 10 inches tall.
Creamer--6⅛ inches tall.
Sugar bowl-- 7½ inches from handle to handle, 5½ inches tall.
Waste bowl--5½ inches from end to end, 3¼ inches tall.
The set is in perfect condition. The lids fit well. The handles have Ivory insulators.  The interiors of the pieces are clean . There are no splits, no dents, no leaks. Monogrammed with a very decorative "R".
All the pieces have the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling. The teapot has the number A597 and C.D. Peacock (Chicago Jewelers), the coffee pot has the number A596 and C.D. Peacock, the creamer has the number A599, the sugar bowl has the number A598, and the waste bowl has the number A600 and C.D. Peacock.
The total weight for the set is 2656.1 grams or 85 Troy Ounces.
