    Description

Fabulous small branch segment of Blue Forest Wyoming petrified wood with very interesting exterior botryoidal details as well as a large section of golden calcite. Excellent visible wood grain and chalcedony agate botryoidal. Loads of detail. Photos don't do it justice. Great addition to a fossil, rock or mineral collection or for research, teaching, or educational purposes.  Photos taken dry and wet to show polishing potential.
    Approximate measurements are 3" x 1.75" x 1.25".
Blue Forest wood dates to the Eocene and is approximately 33-56 million years old.
I'm out there collecting and cutting these great rocks myself and blogging about it at zookeeperfossils. eBay sales help support my rockhounding habit.
COMBINED SHIPPING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE and I will refund excess postage through PayPal when needed.
    Thank you!
