Bauer Nexus 2N Skates - size 5.5 D - great condition - with LS3 steel runners. Condition is "Pre-owned".
I really wanted to like these skates. They were really comfortable right out of the box, but I baked them anyway (just once). Eventually, I came to realize that my foot wasn't quite wide/big enough for this Bauer skate. : (
Overall condition: 9 / 10. I only coached in these skates so there's barely any signs of use. No funky smells, very clean. No rust on eyelets. Inside liner is mint. There's just a few puck marks on the holders and one slight scratch on one of the toe caps. (See pics)
The edge triggers work just fine so you could swap the steel to whatever runners you prefer to use. This LS3 steel is probably sharpened to 5/8 hollow and would not likely need to be sharpened right away. Lots of life left in the runners. No rust or issues to mention.
The laces are in good shape and would not need to be replaced. I am including 2 pairs of insoles. One is heat-molded to create a custom fit. (It was considered an upgrade insole when this Nexus skate was put to market.) The other insoles are the original insoles. Both are used but could still work very well.
I've also inserted some PowerFoot Adrenaline inserts. They are designed to reduce the amount of negative space in the toecap. They can be removed if one does not like them.
