You are bidding on a very nice Antique Octagonal 4 Tier Lacquer Rattan Chinese Wedding  Basket. This beautiful basket is constructed of Lacquered wood & rattan. It features many ornated carvings and painted pictures.  The colors are typical early Chinese Black, red, and gold.
Condition (see pictures):
This basket is in very good antique condition.  Some of the lacquer is wearing and there is a small (approx. 1.5" x 0.25") piece of wood missing from the bottom inside of one of the baskets (not visible when basket is upright see last picture). Look at the pictures and judge for yourself, this piece in in fantastic condition for its age.
