This early dynasty (1900's)Chinese basket is a beautifully hand made bamboo reed composite with an intricate tightly woven design.
A rare and beautiful example of fine Chinese basketry with museum quality,
it is marked on the inside with the original paper label, Made in People's Republic of China.
Measures overall 10'' across 6'' tall.
The lower basket is 4-5/8'' deep by 10'' across with the lid 1-5/8'' deep by 10'' across.
In very good condition with lid fitting evenly on basket.
