    Description

    From a private collector of Southeast Asian Basket Collection.
    This is for an Antique 17" Chinese Bamboo and Wood Wedding Basket with Chinese Boy. This hand painted rare wedding basket has a lid and 2 containers. It is 11" wide. The basket lid a had picture of a Chinese Boy and the sides have beautiful flowers and butterfly pattern. There is a signature on the bottom of the lid. Both sides of the handle has characters written in Chinese. The basket is good antique condition. The pictures are clear. The wood sides have a couple of splits and a 3" piece of the thin horizontal bamboo wrapping around the upper section is loose. Please see the pictures for details.
