1950s Chinese Wedding Basket, Large Two-Tiered, Bamboo and Rattan, Vintage

Description

This piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age, use and long-term storage. It has had only one owner.
It is 16 inches tall with handle, made of split bamboo and rattan, and is structurally sound. It has two baskets and a domed lid, all of which fit snugly together but are easily separated. There are no holes or breaks in the materials, but one of the handle-top wraps is slightly loose. It is inscribed "PE Oliver" on the bottom in marker. These issues are reflected in the price.
