    This lithograph is an original print from Isabella Sinclair's rare and sought after floral book, THE INDIGENOUS FLOWERS OF THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS.  It presents with its descriptive page, that is marked [ 35 ] thus it is likely print number 35 out of the book of 44.
    It presents in a lovely gilt filigree frame of recent origin, plexiglass with a closed back, wire hanger in place.
    The print itself has not been removed for examination, but appears completely flawless, double matted, the flower name is along the center, lower edge.  The frame is quite flawless as well.  The Nohuanu descriptive page is attached to the back.  It has a couple discrete closed tears and appears to have been backed and placed in an art back.  It is age toned but quite complete.
    At 135 years of age, this lovely print is sweet and subtle in its presentation.  Ms. Sinclair, a Scottish botanist, embraced the classic botanical style in her watercolor paintings that were then rendered into prints for her book via the lithograph process.
    It is a rare and lovely piece, ready to hang.  Packed and shipped with loving care it will be a treasure that will last into the next century, yet just in time to welcome in spring.
