1850-1870 Chinese Picnic Basket

Description

I have received this antique basket as a gift from a friend in Beijing. He bought it from one of the antique dealers in the DongXi area (it does not come from Panjayuan or similar copycat markets).
The design and finishing are simple, typical of the period we have been told the basket is from.
The appraisal I received brings the piece at around 0$-0 today. I have marked it down to as I am not an antique dealer. Please feel free to ask questions.
