    Description

    Hammered Round Head Steel Clavos 1/2 inch diameter, 7/8 inch stem. Unfinished raw metal. These may be rusty but that does not affect the usability of the product. I
    f you prefer a color, you can easily paint these to the color of your choice. Spray paints work best. If to be used outdoors or in moist / humid areas, we recommend sealing the complete clavo with a Rustoleum type of spray sealer.
    The more you buy, the more you save!  Please use the pull-down menu at the top to choose the quantity you need.  Please ignore the pull down underneath.  It should be defaulted to 1.  Please do contact us if you need a larger quantity then what is shown.
    Each clavo is hand-made by craftsmen.  They are hand-forged and filled with classic old-world charm.  They are perfect accents for doors, frames, shutters, wood projects, gates, furniture (not furniture tacking though), and many other projects.
    Product notes-
    Each ribbed stem is hand-welded to the underside of the clavo head. Not all will be exactly centered.
    If you are looking for machine-made clavos, these are not for you. Each is unique.  Weld spots may be visible on newly made clavos. These will go away in time. The stems may bend slightly during shipment. They are still usable.
    For installation, we recommend that you dril a pilot hole first and finish by tapping them in with a rubber mallot.
